Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various sales & marketing initiatives and contribute to the development and execution of sales & marketing strategies. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and a passion for marketing. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to enhance our brand presence and engage with our target audience effectively.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, and B2B platforms.
* Conduct SEO analysis to optimise content for search engines and improve online visibility.
* Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of marketing initiatives.
* Utilise Adobe Photoshop for designing promotional materials and graphics.
* Update and maintain the company website using WordPress, ensuring content is current and engaging.
* Create and manage Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and generate leads.
* Analyse marketing data using Google Analytics to measure campaign performance and inform future strategies.
* Develop compelling copy for various marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media posts.
* Oversee social media management by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring trends.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and messaging.
* Prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint for internal meetings or client pitches.
* Support customer service activities with a responsibility for day to day answering customer helpline, preparing and despatching samples to our internal & external customers.
Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
* Proven experience in project management within a marketing context.
* Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools for optimisation.
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Google Ads, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Analytics.
* Strong analysis skills to interpret data effectively and make informed decisions.
* Excellent copywriting abilities with a keen eye for detail in written communication.
* Experience in social media management strategies that drive engagement.
* Knowledge of email marketing techniques tailored for B2B audiences is advantageous.
* Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
