The Parts Manager will report to the Operations Manager.
Job Overview
The Parts Manager is responsible for running the Parts Department - ensuring the availability of high-quality parts at competitive prices, contributing to the smooth operation and profitability of the business. They will be the first point of contact with queries and information regarding company stock.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Line manage the Parts Controller.
· Maintain and update parts system to monitor requirements and spending.
· Complete monthly stock takes to ensure all stock is accounted for correctly.
· Collaborate with the Operations Manager to monitor stock levels and demands.
· Forecast parts usage and trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
· Place timely and accurate purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
· Assist and liaise with colleagues for any breakdowns and parts requirements.
· Build a 'commonly used' parts list to roll out to Engineers.
· Monitor the quality of received parts, ensuring they meet necessary specifications and standards.
· Project work set by the management team to improve efficiencies within the business.
· Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills
· Knowledge of inventory monitoring practices.
· Organised with a good attention to detail.
· Knowledge of powered access machine parts and their applications.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
