The Radiographic Department Assistant will receive basic training to work collaboratively with the Healthcare professional team in providing MR/CT scanning services, ensuring patient comfort and well-being during their scans. The role requires an understanding of essential patient care principles.
The assistant will check stock levels, ensure examination rooms are properly stocked, and maintain cleanliness in work areas, cubicles, and rooms. They should project a professional image to patients, relatives, and colleagues, and evaluate their work quality for continuous improvement.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the assistant will support Radiographers and Radiologists in patient care, including cannulation and other preparatory procedures for CT/MRI scans.
The role involves participation in a 7-day shift system to provide CT/MR scanning services, contributing to high-quality, safe, patient-focused care.
