Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver – Roofing Specialist We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver to join a well‑established roofing specialist based in Uddingston. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent hours and long‑term stability. Start Date: Monday 7th April Pay Rate: £14–£15 per hour depending on experience Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm Key Responsibilities Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB grab Delivering roofing materials to various sites Assisting with loading/unloading when required Completing deliveries safely and efficiently Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence HIAB certification preferred but not essential If you only hold a Class 2 licence, the company will put you through your HIAB qualification CPC and Digital Tachograph card Previous experience preferred but newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply Good understanding of health & safety Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player What’s on Offer Competitive hourly rate Stable, full‑time hours Long‑term opportunity with a reputable company HIAB training provided for suitable Class 2 drivers If you’re looking to develop your driving career with a supportive and growing roofing specialist, we’d love to hear from you.
