Job Description Employment Solicitor Salary : £55,000 - £70,000 discretionary bonus Location : Leeds City Centre Experience : 2–5 years PQE A fast-paced opportunity to join a UK Top 100, full-service law firm within an established Employment team advising regional, national and international clients. The Opportunity This role offers varied employment and immigration work, strong exposure to clients, and the chance to develop your profile through training delivery and business development within a supportive, collaborative team. What You’ll Be Doing Providing employment law advice to clients in person, by phone, via Teams and in writing Supporting senior members of the team on complex matters and client relationships Managing a tribunal caseload and, where appropriate, undertaking advocacy at hearings, PHRs and CMDs Researching, drafting and delivering practical solutions to client issues Attending client meetings and negotiations with third parties Supporting business development through networking and client training Supervising and delegating work to trainees, paralegals and support staff where appropriate Keeping up to date with legal developments and sharing knowledge within the team Delivering training sessions to clients What We’re Looking For Essential Requirements Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales 2–5 years’ PQE in employment law casework Experience managing tribunal matters, with advocacy experience where appropriate Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work to challenging timescales with demanding clients and colleagues Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail, including effective time recording Collaborative approach and ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams Confidence presenting and delivering training What’s On Offer Salary £55,000 - £70,000 plus discretionary bonus Hybrid working with a minimum requirement of 2 days per week in the Leeds office Enhanced pension scheme with employer matched contributions up to 6% 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to 28 with service) and option to purchase up to 5 additional days Life assurance cover of 4 times basic salary, with option to purchase additional cover Range of health and wellbeing benefits Flexible benefits programme Recognised people-first culture, including Gold Investors in People and Hive HR Employee Voice certification Active social calendar and opportunities to connect across teams About Our Client Our client is an independent, UK Top 100, full-service law firm advising businesses, the built environment, healthcare, and public and third sector organisations, as well as private individuals.
