Requirements: Degree or equivalent in Social Care, enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check, registration with Social Work England (or ability to obtain), and relevant experience in children and families social work within a statutory, voluntary, or independent sector.

We are seeking highly talented and ambitious registered Senior Practitioners to join us on our journey to excellence, with a commitment to making children and young people in the Borough our top priority.
This role is within the Referral and Assessment Service, which handles new referrals from Bromley MASH and conducts Child and Family assessments to meet children's needs. The service comprises 6 teams, each with a team manager and 5 social workers, operating on a duty rota every 6 weeks.
Bromley has invested heavily in staffing to ensure lower caseloads, with social workers managing an average of 8 families, enabling quality interventions.
New staff will benefit from a dedicated two-week induction, working within small teams with accessible managers and scheduled quality and reflective supervision.
