As a Global Equities SVA Control Associate within the wider Financial Reporting, Analysis & Control team (a part of Product Control), you will be responsible for understanding and monitoring the Global Equities SVA charges. The Equities business is a global leader spanning a wide product set, including equity derivatives, cash equity securities, prime brokerage, and clearing. You will assist in the control and analysis of SVA charges and communicate the results to stakeholders effectively. Additionally, you will contribute to shaping the team's future direction and promote the change agenda. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities and assisting in designing and implementing new solutions. This position provides an excellent foundation in understanding the business, liquidity, and SVA frameworks, with opportunities to collaborate with the business as you gain more experience.
* Support the day-to-day operations of the Global Equities SVA Control team.
* Assist in controlling and analyzing SVA charges, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
* Engage with Front Office, CIB Treasury Controllers, FRM, and Product Controllers.
* Present monthly results and intra-month updates to key stakeholders.
* Ensure the production of deliverables, perform consistency checks, roll forwards, and complete data quality checklists and analytical reviews.
* Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring controls are robust, documented, and transparent.
* Assist in designing and implementing new solutions, especially leveraging Digital Accelerator tools like Alteryx and Tableau.
* Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Possess strong Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau skills.
* Be an enthusiastic self-starter with curiosity and inquisitiveness.
* Exhibit good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Be well-organized, capable of prioritizing competing requirements and meeting deadlines.

Preferred qualifications include banking experience and some understanding of equities products, liquidity, and transfer pricing concepts, though these are not essential.
