Our client, a leading accountancy practice in Birmingham, is looking to hire a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of compliance clients and undertaking advisory work.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of private client compliance work, including personal tax returns, trust tax returns, and inheritance tax returns
2. Assist senior staff with ad hoc technical assignments and planning projects
3. Provide support and guidance to junior members of the team
4. Develop and maintain client relationships
5. Assist with business development and marketing activities
Requirements:
6. ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified
7. Previous advisory experience would be advantageous
8. Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and compliance requirements
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Strong project management and organizational skills
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
