Responsibilities
* The Shift Supervisor will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, team development, and customer satisfaction.
* You will be responsible for leading and supervising two shifts to meet production schedules and performance targets.
* Promoting a safe working environment through proactive SHEQ management is pivotal.
* You shall train, motivate, and develop your team to test and prepare cylinders and drums for service.
* Responsibility of monitoring KPIs and report on individual and team performance whilst driving continuous improvement and implementing efficiency initiatives.
* Possess the ability to respond to site emergencies and lead incident investigations when required.
* Authorize permits to work and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
* Make informed decisions on pass/fail status of packages during testing and change of service. Management of the team to approve holidays, manage absence, and handle disciplinary matters with fairness and integrity.
What makes you great
* Qualified in GCSE Maths & English (Grade 5+) or 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Possess a valid FLT Licence.
* Proficiency within cylinder testing and ISO17020 standards.
* Possess a proven experience in process improvement and team leadership.
