I'm working with a growing SaaS company operating in the legaltech space - they’re on a mission to make enterprise data more accessible, searchable, and litigation-ready.
They're now looking for a Contract Python Developer to support a key platform transformation project, moving from a serverless architecture to a containerised Kubernetes setup. You’ll work closely with senior engineering leaders and have a direct impact on the scalability of their product offering.
🔍 What’s involved?
* Replatforming critical backend systems
* Building and refining APIs using FastAPI
* Collaborating with frontend engineers working in React
* Deploying to GCP and supporting Kubernetes deployment workflows
* Working in a tight-knit, remote-first UK engineering team
🛠️ Key Tech:
* Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, etc.)
* GCP (App Engine, Cloud Functions, etc.)
* Kubernetes (deployment focus)
* Elasticsearch (nice to have)
* React (frontend collaboration)
📌 Details:
* 💻 Fully Remote (UK hours) - Candidates must have full RTW in the UK
* ⏳ 3 Month Contract
* 💰 Budget: Flexible depending on experience – happy to share top, mid, and baseline rates
