ROLE PURPOSE
This role is key to our clients’ social success, responsible for formulating and executing innovative social strategies that elevate brands, enhance engagement, and deliver measurable value. You will be a leading voice for social at DC, working across markets for a specialist sports client and generating social innovation projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT
* Create comprehensive social media strategies/frameworks that lead to outstanding work for clients and new business pitches across owned and paid media.
* Oversee the development of social content from a strategic perspective for clients' social media channels across markets.
* Create products, playbooks, and ways of working for teams to ensure clarity and social excellence for each client.
* Collaborate with creatives and creators to produce the best creative work.
* Work with client service/operations and community management teams for smooth running and growth of social accounts.
* Collaborate with media, data, and other teams within dentsu on holistic social planning, amplification, and execution.
* Build and nurture a team and community for social within the Agency/wider dentsu network.
SOCIAL EFFECTIVENESS
* Provide added value to clients through regular reports, workshops, future trends, and updates.
* Be the expert on measurement and evaluation techniques and tools for social.
* Provide data/reporting and tracking on social programs to evaluate effectiveness and impact for clients.
FUTURE DIRECTION AND INNOVATION
* Evolve future models for social.
* Create social products and processes clients can easily buy into.
* Stay informed of social/content trends and communicate updates to the agency and clients.
* Build and use the right mix of tools to deliver the best strategies and results.
* Test, learn, and innovate with clients to push boundaries.
* Lead the agency in best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
We’re looking for someone with:

* A passion for social best practices, tools, and measurement techniques.
* A love for challenges and problem-solving for clients.
Experience
* Proven track record of social excellence for clients.
* Strong understanding of sports.
* Cross-market experience.
* Social leadership experience in developing and leading a social strategy team.
* Successful delivery of social and content strategies across organic and paid media.
* Deep understanding of social metrics and achieving value from social content and activations.
Skills
* Strong presentation and technical skills related to social platforms.
* Expertise in technical platforms.
* Experience with social insight and measurement tools.
* Proposal/report writing, project planning, and trends/vision setting.
* Leadership skills to manage and develop a team with vision and empathy.
* Ability to foster positive client relationships and feedback.
* Demonstrated growth in social accounts and revenue.
* Successful case studies illustrating social strategy impact.
* Experience in delivering innovative projects.
* Ability to raise awareness of social excellence within DC.
