Hotel Services Lead
Ross Hall Hospital – 37.5 Hours & Permanent – Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Hotel Services Lead to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department. This is a full‑time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include
* Manage and support the Portering and Housekeeping teams to ensure timely and professional delivery of services across all areas of the hospital.
* Oversee core portering duties, including patient and goods movement, site security, and gas management, where applicable.
* Ensure all housekeeping services, including room and theatre cleaning, laundry handling, and room setup, meet policy and infection prevention standards.
* Carry out cleaning audits and ensure corrective actions are followed through effectively.
* Act as a key point of contact for patients, visitors, and consultants, managing feedback on hospitality services and ensuring satisfaction.
* Ensure staff compliance with all mandatory training and that service delivery adheres to hospital policies and health & safety regulations.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Previous experience managing operational teams within hospitality or healthcare environments
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A basic understanding of MS Excel and administrative processes.
* A hospitality or facilities services qualification (desirable).
* An understanding of cleanliness and infection control standards in a clinical or hotel setting.
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
