We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator for our Estate Agency client based in Rickmansworth. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 12 months' lettings experience OR a Trainee looking for their first role in Estate Agency with very strong customer service and sales skills. Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car. Benefits: Basic £21,000 - £25,000 DOE OTE £25,000 - £35,000 DOE Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturdays 9am - 4pm 1 Saturday off per month with a day back in lieu 5 day working week Excellent career growth opportunities Market leading independent Government pension scheme opt in available Support and costs paid for the relevant qualifications and career development after 3 months Use of company pool car or use of own vehicle at the mileage rate of 35p per mile Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up -to-date records using in -house systems and lettings software Arrange, accompany and follow up on property viewings Manage applicant registrations, communication and progression throughout the lettings process Coordinate tenant referencing, compliance checks and all associated documentation Ensure legal, banking, file maintenance and general administrative duties are completed accurately Develop the skills and confidence to carry out rental valuations and progress these through to instruction Assist with the management of fully managed properties Support and deliver excellent service to landlords Act as a proactive team player, supporting colleagues across lettings and sales when required Handle general enquiries and telephone calls professionally and efficiently Key Skills: Must have 12 months l ettings experience OR very strong customer service and sales skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work Be dynamic with confident negotiation skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required High levels of initiative, motivation and drive Ambition and desire for career progression Commitment to ongoing professional education and training Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Must hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car Additional Company Information: Our client is a successful and well-respected leading independent Estate Agent based in Rickmansworth.
