Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading IT organisation to recruit a Data Migration Specialist on a contract basis. OUTside IR35. Hybrid working - London based.
Role
* The Data Migration Specialist will plan, manage, and execute data migrations, ensuring smooth transitions between systems.
* Lead migrations for Google Workspace and Slack, including user accounts, mailboxes, channels, files, and integrations.
* Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, map data flows, and validate migration outcomes.
* Develop and implement scripts and automation to streamline migration processes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during migration, ensuring minimal disruption.
* Keep up-to-date with cloud collaboration platforms and migration tools, ensuring best practices are followed.
Profile
* Strong experience in Google Workspace and Slack migrations is essential.
* Proficient in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible is a plus).
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS solutions.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities, able to work effectively with IT and business teams.
