We are looking for an outstanding, Chef de Partie to join our talented brigade and enjoy our brand new and spotless fully electric kitchens. The Petersham hotel offers all services, such as Breakfast, Private Dining, A La Carte, Afternoon Tea, Lounge and Room Service.
The Petersham is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to enhance their craft within a wonderful establishment.
Responsibilities
Being able to organise the section they are assigned, preparing mise en place efficiently and effectively.
To ensure all mise en place are prepared and carry the same consistency and standards.
To prepare an order list for the chef in charge, for items to be submitted for the next day delivery.
Quality control
To monitor food operations and control wastage.
Making sure all food preparations are properly labelled and dated to allow correct stock rotation.
Be self-driven and passionate about what they do and more even at the task at hand.
To be able to follow all guidelines on the work premises outlined by the head chef.
