Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent public service? The Business Services Organisation (BSO) is seeking Verification Officers to support patient entitlement checks in the heart of Belfast.
Role Summary
In this vital position, you will play an important part in ensuring patients receive the correct entitlements by managing every stage of the verification process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the full entitlement verification process, including: Issuing initial query letters to patientsRecording all correspondence and documentation on the case management systemOpening and processing incoming mailAssessing entitlement based on received informationSending reminder, entitled, and not entitled letters as appropriateUpdating the BSO patient registration system with entitlement information
2. Verify the accuracy of all outputs from the case management system, including patient letters
3. Respond to patient queries in person or by phone
4. Participate in daily post-handling procedures in accordance with policies
5. Liaise with other government agencies to undertake independent verification

Rate of pay - £12.31 per hour, paid on a weekly basis
