About Our Client
An independent accountancy firm based in the North East of England, established for over 100 years. Job Description
3. Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance service, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work.
4. Plan staffing and resource for audit assignments.
5. Manage the progress of jobs, ensure that budgets are met, address any problems that are encountered to ensure that the audit is finished within budget and timeframe.
6. Review and sign off audit the audit file and address any problems or queries before passing it to the Partner for review.
7. Identify ways to maximise the relationship with the client and deliver added value.
8. Coach and develop audit staff to develop their knowledge.
The Successful Applicant
9. ACA or ACCA fully qualified with practice experience.
10. Demonstrable experience managing audits with commercial clients from planning to
11. Experience working with MS Excel and Word and ideally CaseWare audit software.
12. Demonstrable success managing members of staff.
13. Strong up-to-date technical knowledge including FRS 102 in particular.
14. Excellent communication skills - oral and written, ability to deal with a variety of people in different environments.
15. Organised - ability to deal with a variety of tasks.
16. Client focused.

18. Ability to work within a team.
19. Able to solve complex problems.
20. Able to work well under pressure and manage deadlines.
