Clarus Education is proud to be supporting a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Greenwich in their search for a skilled and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from May 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 2 practitioner who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations, and ensuring every child achieves strong academic progress within a nurturing school environment.
The Role
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver engaging and well-paced lessons across the full Year 4 curriculum
2. Plan creative and structured learning experiences that drive measurable progress
3. Establish high expectations for behaviour and learning within the classroom
4. Use assessment data effectively to inform planning and raise attainment
5. Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team to ensure progression and consistency
6. Contribute positively to the wider school community
This is a full-time teaching position with full class responsibility, focused on achieving excellent outcomes for all pupils.
Person Specification
The successful Year 4 Teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate strong Key Stage 2 experience.
You will:
7. Have proven experience teaching within KS2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
8. Be an inclusive practitioner with high expectations for all learners
9. Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
10. Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
11. Show excellent organisational skills and a reflective approach to teaching
12. Be passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full academic and personal potential
