YSA Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate youth workers looking to transition to work at a SEND Primary School across Bimringham. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will provide assistance and support to young people who require help with daily tasks and activities within a classroom setting and throughout their school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Experience:
* Previous experience in a residential setting
* Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
* Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a rapport with clients
* Patience, empathy, and compassion for others
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Benefits:
* Typical full time school hours (08:30am-3:30pm)
* Long-term until the end of the academic year to permanent roles
* £85-£90 per day
* Optional team teach qualification (free of charge)
* DBS Refund
Requirements:
* DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Experience working within a residential care setting, SEMH/PMLD/personal care
