We’re recruiting Mental Health Support Workers for a highly regarded residential service in Leicestershire, dedicated to supporting children and young people with a range of emotional and mental health needs. About the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young people aged 8–18 to build confidence, develop life skills, and move toward greater independence.
You’ll be responsible for:

Providing consistent emotional and practical support on a day-to-day basis.

Supporting care plans and working closely with the wider team and clinical specialists.

Encouraging positive routines, education, and community engagement.
*
Promoting a safe, structured, and empowering environment for those in your care.

Maintaining accurate records and being an active part of the team committed to outstanding outcomes.
About You
*
Experience within children’s residential care or mental health support is desirable, though full training can be provided.
*
Empathetic, patient, and resilient, with excellent communication skills.
*
Able to work effectively as part of a team, handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
*
Flexible to work a rota including day and/or night shifts.
