Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Dermatology experience
2. Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration. Evidence of continued professional development relevant to dermatology practice
Desirable criteria
3. Formal training or qualification in Dermatology or evidence of specialist development in the field
4. Previous experience at Band 6 level or in a role with leadership responsibilities
Knowledge
Essential criteria
5. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage patient care autonomously.
6. Understanding of national dermatology guidelines and service standards
Desirable criteria
7. Experience in audit, service development or quality improvement activities
8. Teaching, mentorship or clinical supervision experience supporting junior staff development.
