RAC Mobile Mechanic
Responsibilities
* You are someone who gets people – representing the RAC on driveways, engaging customers, giving advice, and delivering on the RAC brand.
* You mix up daily tasks: servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks, while managing stock, completing reporting, and maintaining customer conversations.
* You think on your feet, making accurate decisions for each customer and each vehicle scenario.
* You bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, delivering first‑class service wherever they are.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 2 years’ hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Job Location & Salary
Attleborough, Norfolk.
Annual salary: £40,170 base, with on‑target earnings up to £52,000. Guaranteed overtime option increases base to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
Work Hours
40 hours per week, with core hours from 08:30 to 17:00 and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Availability Monday‑Saturday 08:00–20:00 (flexible as per schedule).
