Job Description
A leading and expanding mechanical contracting company is seeking an experienced Mechanical
Site Manager to join their team in Dublin.
This position reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and involves daily collaboration with suppliers, site supervisors, project management teams, health and safety advisors, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building systems.
* Ensure all site permits and documentation are in place and up to date.
* Conduct mechanical inspections, tests, and troubleshooting.
* Coordinate with the main contractor and client-side representatives.
* Oversee on-site EHSQ compliance including RAMS, PPE, and safety protocols.
* Organize plant hire, tool supply, and labor resources for the site.
* Supervise direct labor and subcontractor performance and output.
* Handle all project-related external communications.
* Procure site materials and maintain inventory records.
* Maintain progress updates and project documentation.
* Manage digital and physical document systems for the project.
* Monitor and manage project-specific scheduling tasks.
* Communicate project changes and updates with internal teams.
* Uphold and report on project quality standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* Trade certification or higher education qualification in mechanical building services or related discipline.
* A minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience.
* Previous work in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role is essential.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Project management exposure is advantageous.
* Excellent IT literacy and interpersonal communication skills.
* Flexibility to travel as required by project needs.
