Duties as the new Service Advisor:
6. Act as the primary point of contact for commercial vehicle service customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met efficiently.
7. Manage the booking-in process, ensuring accurate recording of customer details and vehicle information.
8. Provide accurate quotations for repairs, maintenance, and warranty work.
9. Liaise with workshop technicians to communicate job requirements and timelines.
10. Upsell services and products where appropriate, maximising revenue opportunities.
11. Manage workshop flow to maximise productivity and ensure timely delivery of services.
12. Ensure all customer interactions adhere to company policies and quality standards.
13. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and vehicle histories.
14. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Requirements for this Service Advisor role:
15. Proven experience as a Service Advisor, preferably within a commercial vehicle environment.
16. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
18. Knowledge of automotive repairs, diagnostics, and service procedures.
19. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
20. Full UK driving licence.
21. IT literacy, including familiarity with dealership management systems.
