My Client, based near Didcot, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours/week).
The site includes manufacturing, clean rooms, laboratories, offices, and plant rooms. The business requires their lab and manufacturing areas to meet clean room standards.
What will you deliver?
1. PPM Execution & Documentation: Carry out all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as per the specifications, documenting completion in real-time using the PDA, including start/wait/stop times, travel times, and detailed comments.
2. Paperwork & Reporting: Complete all necessary paperwork related to PPM, reactive maintenance, and breakdowns. Submit promptly and ensure all supplementary documentation or e-forms are completed as instructed.
3. Customer Interaction & System Updates: Regularly update the CAFM system with real-time progress, including accurate times and descriptions of work. Communicate follow-on work appropriately.
4. Reactive Tasks & Improvements: Complete reactive tasks efficiently, identify areas for improvement, and report plant failures with quotation forms and within the CAFM system.
5. Fault Management: Address plant faults swiftly to maintain serviceability, working within delegated authority and client specifications.
6. On-Call Duties: Participate in an on-call rota for emergency support.
7. Maintenance Duties: Perform regular maintenance on systems including generator testing, air conditioning (VAV, VRV, FCUs), air handling units, pumps, water treatment, BMS, fire alarm testing, and heating/cooling systems.
This role requires a DBS Basic check, so the ability to pass is essential.
