Happy Days Nurseries recently acquired Juniors Day Nursery in Boughton Monchelsea are seeking a 3rd in Charge to join their team.
At Happy Days we believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and free to explore. Located just a short walk from Farnham train station, our beautifully renovated nursery offers a warm, home-like atmosphere where children lead their own play and learning. We're now looking for a dedicated 3rd in Charge to help us continue creating magical early years experiences.
Your Role
As a 3rd in Charge, you'll be a key part of our leadership team, supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery and ensuring our rooms reflect the Happy Days ethos: child-led, curiosity-driven, and emotionally nurturing.
* Lead a team within one of our vibrant rooms—whether baby, toddler, or preschool—creating a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment.
* Champion our bespoke "Where Children Shine" curriculum alongside EYFS, tailoring planning and observations to each child's unique interests.
* Step up in the absence of the Nursery or Deputy Manager to ensure smooth operations and readiness for Ofsted inspections.
* Mentor and support your team with empathy and professionalism, using tools like peer observations and coaching to help them grow.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's journey.
What We're Looking For

* Level 3 qualification in Early Years and proven experience leading a nursery room.
* A deep understanding of child development.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of upholding safeguarding and health & safety standards.
* Creativity, initiative, and a genuine passion for early years education.
