Job Description:
Overview: First Military Recruitment is currently seeking an Electromechanical Field Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Install, commission, and service products supplied by the group.
2. Provide high levels of service and support to customers.
3. Prepare accurate and well-presented reports of activities and other documentation, sometimes at short notice.
4. Maintain van stock levels in good order.
5. Work away from home generally for 2-3 nights per week, or occasionally extended periods.
6. Work with systems comprising chill water circuits – air cooled / water cooled.
7. Investigate and rectify refrigeration issues on systems ranging from 0.5kW to approximately 50kW.
8. Identify and repair leaks, adhering to F-gas regulations.
9. Evacuate systems and replace compressors or control valves as needed.
10. Demonstrate high standards of soldering and brazing techniques.
11. Investigate and repair related electrical control circuits.
12. Show experience, certification, and adherence to relevant H & S regulations.
13. Follow company quality assurance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Qualification in Electrical Engineering (minimum level 3).
2. Proven experience in field service and support in industrial environments.
3. Proficient with PC use, including communications and software updates.
4. Knowledge of equipment and processes in relevant industries.
5. Willingness and ability to travel domestically within the UK and Eire.
6. Full UK driving license; company vehicle and tools provided (transit van).

Salary: £38,000 (£50,000 OTE)
