JOB DESCRIPTION- Bulk Outloader / Warehouse Operative-Job Summary: to ensure effective management of the warehouse & efficient outloading of finished goods.Key tasks of the roleManagement of storeMonitoring and replenishing of stockAssisting customers upon collection of ordersPreparing orders for collection and deliveryUnloading and confirming receipt of palletised deliveriesKeeping work areas tidy (and dealing with spillages)Bulk Lorry DispatchReceive loading instructions including: lorry/driver, order details, required loading orderInspect vehicle interior prior to loading to ensure compartments are empty and cleanFollow loading instructions and complete outloading process with a high degree of accuracyLiaise with driver throughout the outloading processWork efficiently to minimise turnover timeComplete all necessary paperworkIdentify abnormalities and report to line managerTote Bag DispatchWork on own initiative to identify tote bag orders for dispatch and prioritise orders as necessaryWork with colleagues, either operating forktruck or discharging from bin.Prepare empty tote bag for loading, and complete outloading procedure with precisionAdd identification to filled tote bag and complete necessary paperworkGeneralGain understanding of UFAS requirements, and work within requirementsAssist in other areas of the business as requiredPerson SpecificationExperiencePrevious stores / Warehouse experienceValid Counter Balance Forklift licence is desirableAn agricultural background is advantageousKey SkillsGood verbal and communication skillsAbility to work on own initiative while contributing effectively to the team environmentAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a busy customer-facing environmentExcellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as and when requiredA positive attitude, reliable, punctual and keenWHJS1_NI
