Finance Systems Manager - Elite 3E

SystemsAccountants have partnered with a UK based, domestically focused law firm with a long history of advising both private and public sector clients. Having recently implemented the Elite 3E solution, this firm are looking to bring on a Finance Systems Manager / Systems Accountant with strong hands-on experience supporting & optimising an Elite 3E landscape.
After relying heavily on Consultancy support during their project and since go-live, the firm's senior Finance IT leadership are keen to develop their internal finance systems capability. This individual will be responsible for developing the finance systems function and contributing to a roadmap of future continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of the finance systems landscape with a heavy focus on Elite 3E
* Ensure system integrity and manage core data structures
* Bring manual finance processes into the system, leveraging technology to streamline and automate where possible
* Engage in routine project work for system developments and upgrades
* Contribute to the roadmap for future development across the finance systems landscape
* Review and manage the 3rd party support relationship to ensure appropriate service for cost
Required Experience
* Strong experience with finance systems, ideally within a professional services or legal environment.
* Hands-on experience with Elite 3E and other legal finance applications
* Comfortable working across departments and managing third-party vendors.
* Able to identify inefficiencies and implement practical, tech-enabled solutions.
* A proactive communicator who can bridge the gap between finance and IT.
