Responsibilities
* Act on your own initiative and be responsive to the individual needs of the child
* Be able to ‘think outside the box’, being creative and confident in your daily interactions
* To liaise with external agencies, such as Communication and interaction specialist teachers and Speech and Language therapy to implement therapeutic interventions for those with communication and interaction needs.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance the quality of initial instruction, provide support to individuals, small groups, and entire classes as necessary.
* Deliver educational activities to students under an established supervision framework, making adjustments based on student reactions and requirements.
* Aid in students’ learning process to ensure they achieve at least the expected level of progress.
* Support teachers in classrooms where students’ literacy skills pose a hindrance to their advancement.
* Customize existing literacy or numeracy teaching materials to suit the specific needs of individual students or student groups.
* Demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm, energy, resilience, and perseverance.
