Key responsibilities as a Project Manager
* Be the primary customer contact.
* Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring customer requirements and business goals are met within schedule, budget, and risk parameters.
* Monitor project performance and conduct reviews to identify corrective actions.
* Allocate resources effectively for project success.
* Prepare accurate cost and schedule reports for bids and updates.
* Provide leadership, manage customer interfaces, and communicate with stakeholders and team members.
* Motivate and mentor the team to achieve objectives.
* Support department activities as required.
* Experience in new product implementation and development.
Personal attributes
* Proven track record in full project lifecycle management.
* Degree in Business or Engineering.
* Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
* High commercial awareness and customer focus.
* Resilient under project constraints and pressure.
* Proficient with project management tools and ERP systems like IFS.
* Experience in systems engineering, integration, or manufacturing is desirable.
* Background in Maritime/Defense industry advantageous.
* Willingness to travel UK and overseas.
* Ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
