An exciting opportunity has arisen for an existing or aspiring leader to fulfil the post of Primary Phase Lead at Kingsmead School based on the Cedar Grove site.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, ambitious and inspirational colleague to join our successful leadership team at Kingsmead School.
This post is integral to our school and plays an important role in enhancing the opportunities for young people. This post would suit an experienced middle or senior leader who is passionate about maximising the potential of pupils and who has experience working with children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
As a Primary Phase Lead, you will need to share our commitment and vision and play an integral part of the school’s strategic development. Our collection of schools is not only changing but also growing. As a result, this could lead to further progression opportunities within our schools over time as well as extensive CPD opportunities.
The successful candidate will be able to engage and enthuse all members of the school community and work cooperatively within a diverse team of professionals from across the education and wider care landscape. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children. All Governors, staff, trainees and volunteers have a responsibility and role to play to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Staff members will maintain an attitude of “it could happen here” where safeguarding is concerned. This position involves substantial access to Children and is therefore subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for any previous criminal convictions or safeguarding issues.
