We are currently looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic, and friendly person to join our dynamic, fast-paced Acute Theatre Suite.
We offer a wide and varied range of surgical specialties, including Maxillofacial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Urology, and Paediatrics, covering both Elective and Emergency procedures across these specialties.
We are pleased to offer Robotic Assisted Surgical Technology training pathways for specific theatre specialties and team members.
You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience working within a theatre environment is essential, along with maintaining confidentiality.
Hours will be scheduled to meet service needs, including shift work, weekends, and rotational nights as required. Flexibility to work across all sites in Fife is expected upon successful completion of VHK training. The role involves working within both theatre and recovery settings to support service delivery.
You should hold an SVQ Level 3 in perioperative care or health care support (clinical-perioperative units).
There is a comprehensive induction program supported by a full-time Clinical Educator and a part-time Education Coordinator.

Please note: This is a Trainee Post; therefore, Annex 21 applies. The training period lasts more than one year but less than two years. Pay will be as follows:
* More than one but less than two years prior to completion of training: 70% of the pay band maximum of the qualified rate.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the PVG Scheme prior to appointment.
