Overview
Two enthusiastic and committed English teachers are sought to join Prince Henry's Grammar School. This is a very committed faculty with a high profile in the school, a strong record of exam success and recognition in the school's most recent OFSTED inspection. There is an excellent curriculum and a strong ethos of teamwork among its members, with regular collaboration to share ideas, resources and expertise.
Role details
This post would be ideal for an ECT looking to complete their ECT years 1 and/or 2 in a fantastic and supportive school, or for a more experienced candidate. They are permanent posts available from September 2026. A TLR role with responsibility for Key Stage 5 English may be available for the right candidate.
Requirements
* Degree or other appropriate qualification in English
* Successful teaching and ITT record or successful and productive teaching practice
* Ability to teach Key Stage 3 and GCSE English
* Excellent classroom management skills
* The ability to teach some media studies and film studies would be advantageous
