Your role will be to maximise production output through effective fault-finding and preventative strategies to reduce machine downtime. Job Responsibilities Perform preventative & planned maintenance, both electrical & mechanical Working on high-speed production, packaging, and automated machinery Servicing, testing & repairs of all site services / facilities equipment Dealing with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, sensors, inverters, pneumatics, servo drives, control panels, pumps, compressors, bearings, shafts PLC - electrical fault finding Continuous improvement projects, new machinery installations & modifications Maintaining accurate inventory of spare electrical parts & components B uilding relations with outsourced suppliers of maintenance & spare parts Monthly lighting & site electrical checks Person Specification To be successful as the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will need: An e lectrical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification within Engineering I deally City & Guilds 18th edition certified S trong electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem-solving skills Experience within a manufacturing environment, desired but not essential The ability to deal with senior company directors Hours of Work and Pay Up to £40,000 Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 16:00 Benefits 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Free eye-sight testing Cycle to work scheme Met Life Cover (finance & mental wellbeing support) Line insurance (4x salary in the event of death) Vitality Cover – private healthcare plus the following perks based on 7,000 steps 4days a week: Free weekly Caffe Nero drink of your choice Free weekly Rakuten movie rental Free monthly cinema ticket with Odeon & Vue Free monthly Amazon Prime membership Up to 40% off selected Garmin & Apple watches 75% off Champneys Spa Resorts 20% off Expedia hotel bookings
