Civils Estimator / Senior Estimator
Blueprint is working closely with a client in Liverpool who is looking for an experienced Estimator Join a team delivering safe, high-quality EV infrastructure projects, installing and integrating charging solutions into the energy network.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
* Assess bid opportunities and lead bid/no-bid decisions
* Review tender documents for accuracy, risks, and completeness
* Prepare BOQs and develop cost estimates using first principles (labour, plant, materials)
* Support tender submissions and deliver client presentations
* Interpret specifications and drawings to produce accurate quotations
* Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient project delivery
What You’ll Bring
* Proven estimating experience in civil engineering (e.g. trenching, drainage, ductwork, concrete)
* Experience delivering capital projects
* Strong commercial awareness, including NEC, ICE, or JCT contracts
* Understanding of electrical infrastructure / utilities (National Grid / DNO knowledge desirable)
* Strong Excel and general IT skills
* Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
* Ability to manage changing workloads and influence improvements
