This is a permanent full-time role for someone with a strong organisational background, and with experience of residential consumer technology. The role is a key one as we migrate the TalkTalk Consumer business to a new IT stack, in a dynamic and fast moving environment. We are seeking a details-orientated individual with experience of managing multiple interlocking parties to help define and deliver our Value Added Services (VAS) product portfolio across new and existing technology platforms. We are critical in supporting the leap to full fibre (FTTP) and to other new all-IP technologies, through the delivery of key added services for customers, such as CPE to enable connectivity in the home, home security and full home WiFi coverage. Role Expectations: The Product Manager – CPE role is accountable for the understanding and managing a complex tapestry of different customer CPE, primarily customer Routers, but also boosters and other connectivity units. These are key elements in our service and need to be managed in line with the company business plan and targets. The Product Manager owns the customer experience and works with our technology partners to manage the lifecycle of the units we offer to our customers. This role is accountable for: Market and Competitor Knowledge - understanding the movements in the market and in our customer's use of internet connectivity in their homes. Working cross-business on development of strategies to support commercial and technical requirements. Collaborating with CPE suppliers and building a broad understanding of the technical platforms underpinning the delivery of a quality customer experience. Managing small projects with internal and external stakeholders to deliver improvements or updates to our collateral and training for our agents. Planning Lifecycle Management of all in-life products including policies for replacement and retirement of devices, involvement in firmware upgrade campaigns, and testing of new devices. Work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch plans. Support product launches through training and collateral creation. Foster a culture of continuous feedback and iteration. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to refine and evolve the product offering over time. Experience and skills: Project Management or adjacent experience in a UK consumer context, delivering small and large changes to a complex technology portfolio. Knowledge and understanding of broadband CPE. Experience of launching new CPE/hardware products. Excellent planning, presentation and workload management skills, and the ability to present clear information for decisionmakers.
