Enable Law, part of the Foot Anstey Group, is a leading specialist medical negligence, personal injury, mental capacity and education law firm. We support clients and families in complex medical negligence cases. We are looking for a proactive and organized Paralegal to join our Clinical Negligence team in Exeter, where regular office attendance is essential.

Why this role matters
As part of our Shared Legal Services, you support the early stages of Clinical Negligence claims, onboard new clients, and manage complex sensitive cases to achieve better outcomes for affected individuals and families.
What youll do
* Support lawyers across the firm in the initial stages of claims, including file set‑up and reviewing medical records.
* Draft documentation and provide legal/administrative support to senior lawyers.
* Conduct research into quantum, medical issues, legislation and case law.
* Manage file administration and day‑to‑day tasks.
What were looking for
* Interest or prior experience in Clinical Negligence matters.
* Ability to handle sensitive client information with tact and empathy.
* Highly flexible approach, able to work effectively as part of a busy team.
* Excellent communication skills and relationship building.
* Proven organisational skills and time management.
* Strong IT skills, including confident use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
