From driving the budgeting process and financial planning to overseeing robust systems of internal control and leading audit and tax planning initiatives, you will ensure that every financial decision drives the company forward. Additionally, you'll lead a talented team of finance professionals, inspiring high performance and nurturing their development while executing key projects that enhance profitability and efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
* A strong professional foundation, being a Qualified Member of an Accountancy Body or holding an equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
* Demonstrable success in leading a large finance function or team of qualified professionals in dynamic environments.
* Exceptional commercial awareness, strategic vision, and the ability to operate seamlessly at both strategic and operational levels.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills combined with a high level of integrity and motivation.
* Proven IT proficiency and a thorough understanding of the local financial landscape, particularly in Northern Ireland, supported by a valid full driving licence.
* It would be a bonus if you had experience in the FMCG or food sectors and a strong track record of managing acquisition / disposal projects.
