Every company needs to sell, and the B2B Sales space presents one of the biggest single opportunities for AI innovation. McKinsey estimates that gen-AI could open up an incremental $0.8 trillion to $1.2 trillion in productivity across sales and marketing. Gartner forecasts that within just a few years, 60% of B2B seller activities will be executed via generative AI technologies. Our early traction proves the direction things are headed. In just over a year, we have signed dozens of customers including NASDAQ and FTSE100 companies and series-E fintechs. We are backed by a leading VC and have established a global customer base across North America, Europe, Asia and MEA. We are growing 25% month-on-month and are now looking to add to our own Sales team.
About the role
Until now, our CEO has signed every single one of our 100+ customers. We recently added our first Commercial hire, and are now quickly looking to add a second. This person will help shape the Commercial function and our global GTM strategy. As a Founding hire, you will play a key part in building the business processes and GTM that will enable us to hit our ambitious growth targets. This is a closing role from day 1. And one that has the potential for rapid progression as we scale globally.
What you’ll do
* Work closely with the CEO to define market segments, carve out ICP definition, and build a strategy to take us to $2m in ARR by the end of 2025
* Manage a high-volume of sales cycles simultaneously, all the way from prospecting to demo and closing; you will have a bit target, so we want someone that's hungry, hardworking and ambitious
* Generate pipeline by any means possible, that means hitting the phones, getting creative, and leveraging the support of the best cold outbound platform on the market!
* Identify key-stakeholders within target organisations and guide them through a rapid sales cycle to ensure a constant flow of new business
* Work on our US market expansion. 40% of our customer base is already in the US, and we want that number to grow (this might mean travel and working some long US hours)
* Forge strong alliances with cross-functional teams including Customer Success and Product/Engineering to ensure the continued success of our customers, and advancement of the product
What We’re Looking For
* 2+ years of Sales or BD experience, preferably in SaaS and with fast sales cycles, engaging non-technical stakeholders (our ACV is ~$12k)
* Someone passionate about the process of being an effective salesperson - bonus points if you’ve already leveraged LinkedIn to grow a personal brand
* Ambition to progress and a hunger for closing deals; we are building out a Founding team and that means you’ll need to get your hands dirty in a range of things, but fundamentally, remain laser focussed on closing new business and driving top line
* You’re self-driven, highly entrepreneurial with a passion for experimenting and iterating on new ideas to find what works.
* You can navigate ambiguity confidently, making quick, informed decisions and adjusting as the company evolves. We want people who are smart, can prove it, and learn and adapt fast in a start-up environment.
* You are knowledgeable about and (or) interested in AI, and its applications - bonus if you’ve used AI for outbound or if you’re a whizz with the new wave of sales tech (Clay, Instantly, etc)
