The team provides support & assistance to adults living within the area from the ages of 16 and above – needing support and assistance to live independently. The Team is made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and paraprofessionals.

Primary responsibilities of the role:
The successful post holder will be responsible for the leadership and operational guidance for assessment, care management and reviewing services within the team and other responsibilities such as
6. Screening of referrals
7. Authorisations of assessments & support plans, dealing with self-directed support matters, duty etc.
8. Knowledge and understanding of Legislations and Polices pertinent to the service, and overall understanding of processes and IT skills required in Adult services.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
9. Social Work Scotland registration
10. Eligible to work in the UK
11. Hold a full UK license
12. Post-qualified experience
13. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
