Overview
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new state-of-the-art care home opened in the Holt, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers. The flagship nursing home in Holt offers residential, dementia, respite and nursing care in an elegant, well-designed setting.
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Responsibilities
* Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
* Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
* Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers
* Promote the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
* Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
* Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
* Be responsible for administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures
Skills and experience
* Have a genuine desire to care for others
* A good team player
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Proven experience of working in a care setting

Salary: GBP 14.00 per hour; annual salary GBP 26,208. This is a permanent full-time role for 36 hours per week, night shifts.
