Job Overview: The Learning and Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, implementation, and coordination of various learning and development programs within the organization. This individual will collaborate closely with HR professionals, department managers, subject matter experts, and external training vendors to ensure the successful execution of training initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Coordination:
2. Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other learning events.
3. Manage training logistics, including venue bookings, equipment setup, and participant communications.
4. Maintain training records and databases to track attendance, certifications, and completion rates.
5. Program Administration:
6. Assist in the development and maintenance of learning and development policies, procedures, and materials.
7. Support the administration of online learning platforms and learning management systems (LMS).
8. Monitor training budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
9. Content Development:
10. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging training content and materials, including presentations, manuals, and online modules.
11. Review and update existing training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
12. Contribute to the design of interactive and multimedia learning experiences.
13. Evaluation and Reporting:
14. Collect feedback and evaluations from participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
15. Analyze training data and metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
16. Prepare regular reports on training activities, participation rates, and outcomes for management review.
17. Vendor Management:
18. Liaise with external training providers and vendors to secure resources and services as needed.
19. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and monitor service delivery to ensure quality and compliance.
20. Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
21. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
22. Proven experience in learning and development, training coordination, or HR administration.
23. Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
24. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).
25. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
26. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
27. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to addressing challenges.
28. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
29. Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM, ATD).
30. Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
31. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
32. Experience working in a fast-paced environment
