A hands-on Tech Lead / Lead Software Engineer opportunity for an exciting tech business offering innovative SaaS product to a global customer base. The Tech Lead will remain hands-on in a full stack Ruby, Rails, React, AWS environment leading projects an assisting senior engineers where required.
The business offer a genuinely exciting product and are growing rapidly. They promote autonomy and collaboration and value problem solving skills and the ability to use several languages, with strong Ruby experience being the main essential requirement.
Main responsibilities:
* Hands-on Tech leadership and development of new features for a global customer base
* Full stack software development using Ruby, TypeScript, React and AWS
* Work with senior engineers in a collaborative product led environment
Essential requirements:
* A genuine interest in working on complex problems with other senior engineers
* A hands-on background within a Ruby, TypeScript, React, AWS or similar stack
* Advocate for Software engineering best practice – Unit testing, CI/CD, Pair Programming etc
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative product led team
* Previous Pair programming experience is desirable
