We are currently partnered with a small, European, biometric focused CRO that are doubling the size of their UK team this year and looking for 3 senior/principal level biostatisticians.
With several new projects scheduled to start in Q3, there is a great variety of studies to work on, offering excellent long-term stability and excellent development opportunity as they continue to grow.
Candidates must be based in the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee biostatistical activities across clinical trial projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and providing technical guidance to the team.
* Serve as the main liaison for clients, maintaining strong communication and addressing project-related queries and needs.
* Take ownership of project finances, including developing and reviewing budgets, cost estimates, and tracking financial performance.
* Participate in bid defense meetings, presenting biostatistical capabilities such as statistical programming and operational approaches.
* Act as the Biometrics representative in governance discussions, as well as during regulatory inspections and client audits.
Requirements:
* Statistics related degree
* Proven track record of working as a biostatistician within a CRO or Pharmaceutical company
* Previous experience leading studies
* Sufficient experience using SAS
* Expert knowledge of clinical trial design
