About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Oldbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking school community. The position is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to build their career.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love of learning and literacy.
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning styles.
* Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort, and achievement.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning and share best practice.
* Take part in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in English or a related subject.
* Experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome).
* Strong knowledge of the UK English curriculum.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
