Key Responsibilities To have a knowledge of water systems within a commercial/healthcare environment and maintenance/ testing activities. To undertake the water system planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown maintenance and other maintenance related activities to the Estate. To perform the complete range of Mechanical Craftsperson (Water) tasks as required or directed by management. To be knowledgeable of and to work to ACoP L8 & HTM04-01. Be able to do Assessment & planning, Infection-control compliance, Safe isolation, Tap removal & installation, TMV checks, Water hygiene flushing Documentation & handover Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance across hospital Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations. To undertake temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, TMV servicing, buffer vessel blow downs, to name a few. After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces. Previous experience of working within a health care environment is desirable Requirements: NVQ or C&G Level 2 Heating/Vent/Plumbing Legionella/TMV/Disinfection awareness and training Start: ASAP Duration: 1 year Rate: £18.46 - £20.51 per hour ( holiday pay) About You About Us Not Specified
