1. Business Development Manager - Defence & Aerospace
Location: UK (Field-Based)
Salary: Up to £80,000 Basic + 20% Bonus + Car/Allowance + Excellent Benefits
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within the Defence and Aerospace sectors, selling high-precision CNC machining and engineered solutions into Tier 1, Tier 2, and OEM customers.
This is a strategic, field-based role focused on developing new relationships, managing key procurement stakeholders, and securing long-term manufacturing contracts. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, influencing technical and commercial decision-makers, and converting complex engineered solution sales.
Key Responsibilities
2. Identify, target, and win new business within defence and aerospace markets
3. Sell CNC machining services and engineered manufacturing solutions
4. Engage and build strong relationships with Procurement Managers, Supply Chain Directors, and Engineering leads
5. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract award
6. Develop strategic account plans for key target customers
7. Work closely with internal engineering and operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
8. Meet and exceed revenue and margin targets
