What You’ll Be Doing
As the Optical Practice Manager, you will:
* Lead and inspire a team of dispensing opticians, ensuring high performance and excellent patient care.
* Manage the dispensing operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and patients receive top-quality service.
* Identify areas for team improvement and create targeted plans for development.
* Dispense regularly, setting a high standard for the team with your clinical expertise.
* Oversee training and development, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years in optics, ideally at Assistant Manager or Practice Manager level.
* Leadership Skills: Confident, approachable, and able to train, delegate, and manage effectively.
* Optical Expertise: Strong dispensing knowledge, frame and lens expertise, and a keen eye for detail.
* Qualifications: Preferably GOC-registered Dispensing Optician with up-to-date CET points.
