Duties of a Vehicle Technician
* Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on luxury and performance vehicles to the highest standards
* Use advanced diagnostic equipment and specialised tools to accurately identify faults
* Work on a variety of models including high-performance cars, classic vehicles, and modern performance sports cars
* Assist with vehicle inspections, minor repairs, and MOTs (if qualified), ensuring compliance with safety standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
* Collaborate effectively with team members, providing technical support and sharing best practices
* Document all work thoroughly, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards
* Provide excellent customer service and professional communication at all times
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician
* Proven experience as a Technician, Master Technician, or equivalent, ideally with a background in luxury or performance vehicles
* Genuine passion for high-performance cars with a focus on quality and detail
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs
* MOT licence advantageous but not essential; willingness to develop further
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and responsibly
* Good communication skills and a professional appearance
* Ability to work efficiently on complex and older vehicle systems
* Driven to deliver high-quality workmanship with minimal supervision
